Chamber Academy

Chamber Academy features a wide range of seminars for businesses – marketing workshops, customer service seminars, small business forums and more. MBACC is proud to partner with Horry Georgetown Technical College Workforce Development to bring chamber investors more choices for classes at discounted prices! All classes are held on HGTC's Grand Strand CampusTo receive the discount, call 843-477-2020 and mention "chamber member discount."

Continuing Education/Job Training at HGTC
While all academic programs at HGTC provide job training, there are a number of additional job training options for local companies, industrial prospects, and individuals who do not wish to enroll in college but need job training for immediate employment.

A simple mission to help kids read better led Tracy Bailey to launch Freedom Readers in 2010. It started with just two sites and 40 scholars and students. Today, Freedom Readers serves 20 sites with about 230 children.
