Keep Myrtle Beach Beautiful is a committee of Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce that earned official affiliation with Palmetto Pride, Keep South Carolina Beautiful and Keep America Beautiful in Sept. 2021.
The program focuses on three pillars: litter removal, recycling and beautification. Keep Myrtle Beach Beautiful aims to bring together the City of Myrtle Beach, community organizations and residents under one umbrella to focus beautification efforts throughout Myrtle Beach.

To inspire, educate and empower people to take action every day to improve and beautify the Myrtle Beach area community environment.

Resources and Partners
City of Myrtle Beach Solid Waste & Recycling Division – information, hours and collection schedule for waste and recycling in the City of Myrtle Beach. Outside of the regular collection schedule, city residents can bring waste to the Jake Abraham Transfer Station, additional fees for some waste types may apply.
Horry County Solid Waste Authority provides waste management for Horry County including operation of recycling centers and the landfill. They also run a food waste recycling program.
Keep America Beautiful – The national nonprofit organization inspires and educates people to take action every day to improve and beautify their community environment. KA envisions a country in which every community is a clean, green, and beautiful place to live. KMBB a proud affiliate of KAB.
PalmettoPride is South Carolina’s anti-litter and beautification organization and state affiliate of KAB. KMBB is a proud partner of PalmettoPride.
