18 Students from Myrtle Beach Area High Schools Receive Educational Scholarships from Myrtle Beach Area Chamber

On May 1, 2025, the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce (MBACC) Educational Foundation awarded this year’s recipients of its annual scholarship program. Eighteen graduating seniors from 14 area high schools were awarded a minimum of $1,000 to help cover first-year expenses related to higher education.

2025 MBACC Educational Scholarship Recipients are:

  • Alexandra Beltran – Academy for Arts, Science and Technology
  • Cayden Graham – Academy for Technology & Academics
  • Isabelle Rabon – Aynor High School
  • David Brown – Carolina Forest High School
  • Noah Reiss – Conway High School
  • Kamryn Johnson – Early College High School
  • Angelina Clark – Green Sea Floyds High School
  • Sean Dobis – HCS Scholars Academy
  • Savannah Tyler – Loris High School
  • Elizabeth Raynor, Stella Styers & Hannah Weidner – Myrtle Beach High School
  • Rylee Koonce, Lashaun Scott & Naveah Washington – North Myrtle Beach High School
  • Isabella Williams – Socastee High School
  • Ellie Harrell – St. James High School
  • Makenzie Shaw – Waccamaw High School

“These bright, young students will become our next generation of leaders, entrepreneurs and community servants,” said Tracy Conner, MBACC Interim President & CEO. “We’re honored to support them as they take this important next step in their educational journey.”

After a thorough application and review process, these students were selected for their exceptional academic achievement, leadership and community involvement.

The MBACC Educational Foundation has awarded over $264,000 in educational initiatives over the last 17 years, with a strong emphasis on supporting graduating seniors through scholarships. Funds are determined annually by the Foundation’s Board of directors and are paid directly to the recipient.
