Mission Statement

The mission of the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce is to provide community leadership in the promotion of economic development, including tourism. Accordingly, the chamber will effectively involve itself in the governmental and political arena and the coordinating of efforts to advance business development in order to improve the quality of life and to encourage unity in the region.

• The chamber supports various nonprofit initiatives that help to build up our community. Due to the heavy volume of requests, we are now requiring a formal request for support to your organization, whether you are seeking financial support or a vacation package.
• Participation in requests is dependent on their alignment with the chamber’s mission statement.
• Requests are reviewed the second Monday of the month; it is important for requests to be submitted as far in advance as possible.
• Please allow up to four weeks for response.
• We cannot guarantee that every submission will be granted or at the amount requested.
• Please indicate if requesting a vacation package or financial support.
• Attach your organization’s sponsorship materials in an email to Donation.Request@VisitMyrtleBeach.com with your organization name in the subject line.
