Recognizes a 501(c)(3) organization that demonstrates effective fundraising and outstanding contributions to the community. Eligible applicants must be a member of the chamber.
Recognizes a business that contributes to the community in the form of leadership, volunteerism and/or financial support. Eligible applicants must be a member of the chamber.
Volunteers are the cornerstone of our organization. They ensure chamber programs, events and initiatives are successful. This person is dedicated to the mission of the chamber and is a familiar face seen by chamber members. Eligible applicants include individuals who volunteered past or present for the chamber on various chamber committees or other events sponsored by the chamber. The recipient must be a current chamber member.
This award honors a hospitality-based business, recognizing their contributions to the tourism industry at The Beach through collaboration, innovation and community engagement. The ideal recipient will demonstrate excellence in promoting The Beach as a top tourist destination and enhancing visitor experiences. Eligible applicants must be a member of the chamber.
This award applauds someone who demonstrates a commitment to innovation, originality and entrepreneurial spirit in the development of processes, products or technologies. The chamber presents this prestigious award to an individual who has taken a risk in business – started a new venture; expanded into a new area; taken on a challenging project. Eligible applicants must be a member of the chamber.
This award recognizes a member of Grand Strand Young Professionals that has made a positive impact in the community and demonstrates growth in their industry as well as a commitment to continuing to pursue excellence. Eligible applicants must be between the ages of 20 and 40 years old, an active member of GSYP for at least one year, a Grand Strand resident for a minimum of two years and must not be a previous winner.
This award honors one of the chamber’s volunteer ambassadors for their commitment and dedication to the program and serving the chamber. The chamber ambassadors vote among themselves at the end of each year to choose the winner.
