Small businesses are the backbone of the communities along South Carolina’s Grand Strand, driving innovation, creating jobs and providing resilient economies. In honor of National Small Business Week, May 4-10, 2025, Partnership Grand Strand is excited to recognize and celebrate the dedication and hard work of local business owners.
Partnership Grand Strand is the chamber’s nonprofit foundation.
As part of the weeklong celebration, businesses that have completed surveys with PGS will be entered into a daily drawing to win a complimentary lunch. Five businesses will be selected over five days to enjoy a meal provided by GringoNinja Private Chef Service.
For those who haven’t yet completed the business survey, there’s still time. Fill out the form for a chance to win.
Additionally, PGS will hold its highly anticipated BIG Mixer event during National Small Business Week on May 7 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Robert H. Reed Recreation Center, 800 Gabreski Lane, Myrtle Beach. Attendees can expect an evening of networking, collaboration and entertainment.
“National Small Business Week is the perfect opportunity to spotlight the passion, persistence and entrepreneurial spirit that fuels our local economy,” said Sarah Dahlstrom, PGS Business Retention and Development Coordinator. “From family-run shops to growing startups, we’re proud to support and recognize the businesses that make the Grand Strand thrive every day.”
