The chamber is a nonprofit organization committed to promoting, protecting and improving business on the Grand Strand. The chamber serves Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach, Surfside Beach, Little River, Atlantic Beach, Garden City Beach, Loris, Conway, Aynor, Murrells Inlet, Litchfield Beach, Pawleys Island, Socastee and Carolina Forest. How can I join the chamber?

What is the cost of joining the chamber?

My company is part of the chamber, am I?

Yes. As an employee of a chamber investor business, you have access to all the benefits offered by the chamber.

My company is an investor with the chamber, can I attend events?

Yes. All employees of chamber investor businesses have full access to the chamber benefits including events. We encourage you to register for and attend networking and education classes. A full list is available here.

How do I register for events?

Click the register button on the event page to launch the registration form. Complete the registration contact information. Click "Select Items" to adjust the quantity as needed. Click "Attendees" to update additional attendee information. Finish by clicking "Submit Registration." Logging in at the top of the registration page can save you time. Can my business host a chamber networking event?

Hosting events is a great way to introduce your business to fellow chamber investors. If you want more information or want to schedule a Business Before, During or After Hours or Touring Tuesday, contact our Business Development Programs Manager Kema Parsley by calling 843-916-7276 or emailing Kema.Parsley@VisitMyrtleBeach.com.

For ribbon-cutting ceremonies to celebrate grand openings, expansions, anniversaries or moves, fill out the scheduling request form. Please try to submit your request at least two weeks prior to the event to allow enough time for scheduling and promotion.

I'm a member at another Grand Strand area chamber. Does that mean I also am a member at the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce?

No. Though the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce often holds events in conjunction with other area chambers, membership is separate for each chamber.

How do I submit coupons for my online membership listing?

All investor businesses can add coupons through the member’s only portal by clicking “Coupon Admin.” You may post general coupons for anyone to use or Member-to-Member coupons exclusive for fellow chamber investors. Additional coupon and discount types are available seasonally.

How can I become more involved in the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce?

Here at Myrtle Beach Area Chamber, we offer investors and their employees a range of opportunities to share their expertise and enthusiasm with fellow chamber investors and the community. We strongly encourage our stakeholders to become familiar faces at the chamber’s events, committee meetings and programs. No. The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce values the privacy of our stakeholders and does not share email addresses. I am a member of Grand Strand Young Professionals. Am I a member of Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce?

GSYP membership is separate to Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce membership. GSYP members are welcome to attend chamber networking events and Chamber Academy education classes.

Is it a nonprofit fundraiser or community event? Submit your event using this form to be added to our website. If your event is created on your Facebook page, please send the link to Amanda.Blomquist@VisitMyrtleBeach.com. The chamber will share your post once to help promote your event.

Chamber sponsored events are listed on the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber website calendar. For example: ribbon-cuttings, Chamber Academy classes, Business After Hours, chamber committee meetings. Nonprofit fundraisers and community events also may be listed.

How do I do business with Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce?

MBACC entertains bids for services (request for proposals) from time to time based on the needs of the chamber. When there is a match for our business need and your commodity based on the information and capabilities you provide, we will contact you directly. To receive notifications about open RFPs, please update your e-news subscription to receive RFP notifications.

 

Can I use the chamber's conference rooms to host my own meetings?

No. We encourage you to search our business directory for members who have meeting facilities.

Can all investor employees take advantage of chamber benefits?

Yes. All employees have access to chamber benefits as long as the business remains an investor.

How do I find out if a business is a chamber investor?

Search for the business in our directory. Using the advanced search function, queries can be completed with a company name, city, state, website and/or phone number.
