Signature Events

Get ready for some friendly competition! We’re hosting a mini-golf tournament at Mt. Atlanticus on Friday, Nov. 7. Proceeds from the event will support our charity event, Substitutes for Santa.

We celebrate our anniversary each summer. GSYP was originally formed as gsSCENE for Young Professionals in 2008.

GSYP and Partnership Grand Strand host a series of events giving you exclusive behind the scenes opportunities with local authorities and industry leaders.

Each February we host an oyster roast in Murrells Inlet with all you can eat oysters and live music. Chicken bog also is served. All proceeds benefit Substitutes for Santa.

Held each December in partnership with SOS Care, Substitutes for Santa provides a magical Christmas experience for more than 100 local children in Horry County. The children are first taken to Fun Warehouse for games and pizza, then they are taken to Walmart to buy Christmas presents. Each child also is sent home with a bag of necessary household items.

Sponsorship opportunities are now available for our 2025 Substitutes for Santa event.
