Spreading Cheer to Horry County Children
Substitutes for Santa
Held each December in partnership with SOS Care, Substitutes for Santa provides a magical Christmas experience for more than 100 local children in Horry County. The children are first taken to Fun Warehouse for games and pizza, then they are taken to Walmart to buy Christmas presents. Each child also is sent home with a bag of necessary household items.

How to Volunteer
Volunteers must be age 18 or older, submit to a background check, and may choose to volunteer with a child, without a child or to shop for a child. Our greatest need area is volunteers paired with children.
Volunteer registration will open in the fall. Submit the form below to be notified when registration opens.
